Every Light can be converted to LED.  It's even cheaper if the HID ballast needs to be replaced.  LED Retrofit Re-Lamp: LED change-over lamps are available for every type of lighting fixture. These show photos of lights where long lasting reliability is very important.
Removing the ballasts is recommended for retro-fit of the T5 fixtures. T5 lights have proven to have a short ballast life.
